Kratom is controversial - it has many fans, but also detractors. Both sides are welcome.
Kratom is legal in some parts of the world, but not everywhere. I'm not sure what are the legal implications/rules for the lemmy instances, so for now let's refrain from discussing vendors.
I agree with everything you said. I am a proponent myself, but understand the detractors points all the way. I just think prohibition is the worst policy all around, for every ssubstance.
I was thinking of starting a kratom community and found this! I'm probably not great for that job but if you ever need help lmk.
I'm really enjoying my lemmy experience so far. I like ground up feel.
Edit: I also wonder what the policy is for sourcing. If it's allowed, I think it'd probly be fine at first, but would become an issue if we got big, with spam and shallow advertising posts and shills. I dunno.
When they banned sourcing in the kratom sub that killed it for me. I really hope it is allowed here.
Yeah it’s so huge to be able to share sourcing with each other so we know who has the best quality/prices etc. And new vendors can offer free samples.
Yea the kratom subs I used most were the ones that allowed it. I do understand why it'd be a problem though. Also those spammy advrtiments were kinda annoying, but we don't have enough people where that'd be an issue rn.
True spam gets annoying. It's always nice to read reviews and find new vendors though, to me that's the real value in following these kinds of places.
This is why I didn't start a community lol. I can't decide shit. I'm literally fine with anything. A blessing and a curse.
