Brazilian congressional panel on Wednesday accused former President Jair Bolsonaro of instigating the country’s Jan. 8 riots and recommended that he be charged with attempting to stage a coup.

I hope they throw the book at him. Coddling would-be dictators just emboldens them and others to try again.
They were going for a global fascist coup and it backfired.
Nothing will happen to him. He served a purpose and his dealings got Lula back to presidency. Him or Lula are not the ones calling the shots here, if you believe that the "polarisation" is what drives their decisions, you're part of the mob.
