Any of you use plex amp with CarPlay?
It’s frustrating that the artist list doesn’t have all of the alphabet. Mine only goes A-L for example. This might be a CarPlay side limitation but either way it’s not great.
If I wanted to play Warren Zevon I can only do it from my phone.
I’ve been using it and have had zero problems so far. Just scrolled down to find White Zombie the other day.
Unfortunately I have no solutions for you. All I can tell you is that I’m running the latest version of PLEX, and iOS 17 on an iPhone 13 mini, and I plug into CarPlay using the USB to Lightning Plug cord. Not sure if any of that info is helpful for comparison.
Do you have a bunch of music? Wondering if it just does the first 12 letters or something.
You mean you’re able to get to white zombie from within CarPlay, right?
I do have a fair amount of music on there. I am able to get to white zombie using the arrows on the side to scroll through the list of artists.
I found this tread on that old site where it seems like others are experiencing the same as me. Doesn’t look like there was any resolution…
I use it all the time but I’ve never done anything but album shuffle. Next time I’m in the car, I’ll see if I have the same problem.
Thanks. I’m all up to date on phone and app updates so it’ll be weird if this is a me thing.
I have an android so can't really comment. I have Plexamp, but use it by Bluetooth connection.
