The image is most likely not real but just because it is a $30 game controller doesn't mean it is not an industry standard controller used for many expensive millitary drone testing, although I know these terms are fluff and I think the controller should've been a backup instead of the main thing...
Note that the images of the controller going around the internet are not real. (Or at least, not related to the Titan implosion)
