Based on what I know right now, it would be Quest 3 every time for me. We'll obviously have to see what the final specs of the Q3 are, and whether it's a worthwhile upgrade from a Q2.
Comfort aside, how do you find it compared to the Rift S? I had a Rift S then went to a Q2. Whilst wireless is cool, I can still detect a little latency compared to the wired Rift S.
I've tried to reply several times; the server must not be happy. The visual difference is strikingly better on the QP. The pancake lenses are an amazing jump forward. And the pro controllers are superior in basically every way.
The Quest Pro will have a few features that the Quest 3 won’t have, eye tracking is one of them, but nothing worth over double the price compared to the Quest 3’s $499 launch price.
you probably already saw from recent announcements, quest 3 is a bit better!

FOV: 106 degrees
screen resolution: 1800 x 1920
Quest 3 Stats:
max Refresh Rate: 120hz
FOV: 110 degrees
screen resolution: 2064 x 2208
although the quest 3 controllers will not have camera tracking, they'll use the same solution as Q2/Q1

Yeah, we'll have to see. I have a QP mostly because I wanted the open format (my Rift S was murdering my cheeks).
