Cool as someone from Europe I never understood why it’s called World Series… I mean we don’t call the Bundesliga World Series and it has players from all over the world
It's a goofy name, honestly. I'm pretty sure it comes from a time when only the US took baseball seriously, so you technically make the argument that the team that won was the best in the whole world. But nowadays it just sounds silly.
