New threads appear on c/all for those who sort by New, and just like in life in general there are people who hate those who can afford expensive things, could also be fanboys of other brands or people going through rough times and seeing you flash a $1000 purchase in front of them (except you're not the one who's flashing it in front of them, it's them who chose to see it alongside many other things they will also not like as they chose to browse c/all).

I hope so too. On paper everything seems good. But in reality it could be totally different. I have a P6P currently and personally never experienced the fingerprint issues nor was it less performant than my expectations. The lack of the Face Unlock feature on that phone was a huge let down for me though.
Very happy that it's available on the P8P though and better yet, secure enough to use for financial service provider apps. I'm cautiously optimistic to say the least. 😅
