Seems like he really wanted a sports team. He recently pulled out of bid for the NHL Ottawa Senators team.
He and Rob McElhenney already own (part of?) a sports team: Wrexham AFC.
I'm curious if it's the same or similar set of partners as the Senators bid.
He already has a sports team, it seems he wanted a sports empire.
