We would have been stuck in mediocrity if he stayed, so it's quite the Everton signing if you ask me.

If I was an Everton fan I'd be nervous. He may be better than whoever he is replacing, but that is never an excuse to settle.

Seems very Everton to see where arsenal were and how they were operating a few years ago compared to now and say "yes that's our goal".
