TIL You can jump to Karlach from the back exit of Zevlor's room in the grove
If you go to where Zevlor is standing here in the grove there is an exit to the left up some rocks. When you go out this exit Karlach's spawn point is a jump down the cliff on the right. You'll take like 90% damage if you don't have featherfall or something similar like misty step but you get to her super early and don't have to deal with any other combat.
I'll do anything to get to my favorite companion early.

Ah that character is a companion? I think we just murdered Karlach because some guys in a house told us to…and then we murdered those people as well because one of us chose an option that makes them attack you.

Oh man you’re in for a treat on your second run. Karlach is easily the best companion with the most personality.

TIL, Zevlor has a room in the grove.
Here you go. This is starting from Zevlor with a level 2 wizard with feather fall and enhance jump. Anyone else can get over there by jumping but you'll lose health and it's trickier to find the right spot to jump to.

This is how I found her the first time actually. I hadn't left the grove yet and saw ground I could jump to, next thing I know I have a new companion

You can recruit Wyll at the Grove before doing this I guess.
They just talk in the camp instead. But wyll can come with you via feather fall.
This is the way I thought you had to do it, because I couldn't find another way to her. Yeah, I felt pretty stupid not long afterwards.

I've been doing the Grove battle, then heading straight west across the bridge. Once I get to the Blighted Village entrance, head north, grab Scratch then jump across the rocks at the river. Then head east and meet up with her.
It is the same path as above ? I remember during early access fighting ton of mobs before reaching her. So i'm glad there is a shortcut and she was very cute during the last panel of hell, straight forward and honest. :)
As long as you don't stray off that path or enter the Blighted Village you will not run into any enemies.
