They linked resources, forums, IRC, Matrix, and Discord. They listed some basic issues like client support, ui, etc.

This just feels like nitpicking. It's a bunch of people passionate about a project, doing it for absolutly nothing, seeing if others want to join in.

There is also a link on that blog that opens to a “how you can contribute” with a selection tree. If code is chosen it provides a link to the issue tracker.
