Haha yeah, I should probably make a reference sheet for him so it'll all makes sense. I've been procrastinating at it XD

Yeah and maybe also explain what's up with his eye (Context from his reddit account on an earlier piece it shows the character's eye without the eyepatch, image below). Either way I look forward to seeing it whenever you get around to making it.

::: spoiler Image of the Character w/o eyepatch (reuploaded from Reddit) ::: (reuploaded the image since many people may not want to go back to Reddit to see it, actually downloading it was a pain because Reddit tries very hard to prevent people from getting a non-webp version)

It's a gemstone, inspired from the world of steven universe. I decided to add an extra quirk to my sona bc I thought It'd look cool (the early look of him didn't have a gem), but end up with people being confused haha, so that's why I recently added an eyepatch to cover :b

Ah I see, that's pretty cool and unique. I'll admit I haven't seen Steven Universe but I think I understand the gems concept a little bit from people talking about it.

Also I think you should do more of him with the gem visible since it is such a cool and unique feature (An Idea: Maybe one where he shows it after being asked why he has an eyepatch).

Very nice! This might be picked by someone else as a profile pic. Very well made and is square.

Huh oki, well I had my watermark on it so they'll know it belongs to someone else

Yeah, but maybe you'll want to put it in a place with more color variation, so it's harder to erase, like between your character and the bg

True dat, I mostly put the watermark on either the bottom corners or around the subject. Forgot about the background, but thanks for the reminder :DD

It's not fire haha, it was a tree I drew and added a lens blur filter. The bright yellow color is sunlight behind the tree. Now that you've mentioned it I can't unsee it lol

You reached the end

Pretty new to Lemmy, here's my latest art from reddit :D | Spyke
