"hot" as default?
wander, i think you're right and "hot" is a way better home feed choice. should it be set that way for new users? can it even?

I wish there was a way without meddling with the code :( Best thing we can do for now is to tell people to switch to hot.
I could probably learn how to change it instance wide, but it would take me some time and there's many other improvements ideas which I would be better at.
makes sense! no worries, i'm sure with the explosion of lemmy users that some feature for this will come out :)
