Imagine telling someone that Elneny and Cedric would play together in 2023

One thing I've noticed is Havertz keeps having someone in his exact location when he gets the ball. Wonder why.

@Astrealix agreed. Of any player in all the games he’s the most likely to run into one of his teammates

One of those things that will go away the longer he's here, I reckon.

Said it before and I'll say it again - always happy when this dude has to earn his bread for the week

Bit worried about zinchenko coming on... he s great on the ball but he switches off defensively and that could hurt us in this match

Makes a goal-line clearance with his ass... there's a twerk joke to be made here somewhere

We haven't had a spell of attacking play for a while now.

Only ones are the one that Kai made and that shot from Eddie also from the left.

Havertz hasn't been bad but he has offered nothing either. Every time the ball goes to him it's a poor touch or a lazy pass and he slows us down

ESR's first start in ages, probably can't play the full game. Nelson might not be too great either cuz of the relative lack of preseason. Also probably tactical given that we have 2 midfielders on for a midfielder and a winger.

2

I understand. It just seemed like they had more left in their tank.

We're just going to try and hold on now aren't we, this is not going to be fun.

1

Sagoe Jr played well, a lot of potential, quick feet and good decision making.

2

Kai's brightest moment of the match. Nelson should have scored.

He's retaining his value. If he ever transfers out, Arsenal should get a decent sum.

man's gonna push for that spot back, he's not fucking leaving

2

Arteta clearly favors Raya but we won't know for certain he will leave until the summer transfer window.

This is the ESR that Arteta doesn't think can break into the starting lineup? He's looked so far bar the corners he took.

He's played quite well today. Almost scored.

2

Arteta has been pretty full of praise for him tbf recently, but he's been out for a good while and needs to prove his way back into the team

1

Don't think we've done a 4-4-2 diamond in forever? With this squad, at least.

1

Charles is on the right, interesting that he's ahead of ACD if that's the case
