I'm really surprised they didn't increase battery life. In all the reviews I read of the initial version, that was the most consistent complaint.

I really hope that it's not the same. The only thing I can think of is that the Google store mentions 24 hr battery life with footnote that mentions certain features being turned on may lower battery life. The leak today says 24 hr battery life with AOD turned on, which gives me hope. I may get disappointed come 10/4.
If it's free watch with the purchase of an 8 Pro as rumors indicate, I won't be disappointed for long.
Markups must really be something if they can toss it in with the phone.
