What's the best place to look for internships?
I would say if your school uses handshake or something similar start there otherwise the usual jobs boards work.
Okay. Any specific companies I should look for?
Try asking around in some infosec Discord communities too. (Some listed here https://shellsharks.com/getting-into-information-security#online-communities.) A lot of internship programs take place in the summer which is now ending. Good luck on the hunt!

I want to eventually write some articles/papers on some of the stuff I'm working on, but my concern is people will drop whatever code I share into VT or something or they abuse it. Except if I share a PoC people would complain about it so Idk if I should just share PoCs or instead share theories and describe how it is done which I think would be better and how I figure out how to do most things.
