What are some of the "small things" you appreciate about Lemmy over Reddit?

Instances are brilliant. I'm a Lemmy.ca account, and being able to filter by "local" and sudden all my content is Canadian focused is fantastic.
On of my biggest issues with reddit was how american focused all of the global news subs were, if you wanted Canadian content you needed to be subbed to Canadian news subs. But since im a .ca Lemmy, my local tab puts a Canadian spin on the same Lemmy!
