No single family or individual should monopolize the news and media. The Murdochs are detrimental to a free and democratic world and undermine the core principles of the press.
The Murdochs are cancer for the free and democratic world.
In addition to the fact this was long overdue (he is 92) this man has done more to erode US liberal and democratic values than any individual political movement could have.
Obviously, I do not have a crystal ball and I cannot see alternative outcomes, but I believe Trump and the modern day GOP could not have happened without the aid of the corrosive narratives he pushed and allowed to flourish at Fox News.
Sadly, I don’t think anything will change because his son, Lachlan Murdoch, is taking over and will probably run things the exact same way.
@CoffeeAddict anyone that gives the "Biden is too old and should retire" should get a "the TV station you watch religiously has been ran by someone older for the last decade" response.
92 years old and still just as destructive as ever.
Hopefully his son changes things, but I very much doubt it. They have created a monster and their source of money is going to demand further and further right news/views.
GOOD news
