Adding to digdug's comment, the answer selected was "Daily", meaning although the option for receiving updates only when something big happened was available, they chose to have daily updates- like any civilized person

Please only inform me if something big happens

These beef stroganoff memes have been great, and I’m very excited to see lemmy forming its own identity as a platform.

Reminds me of the old days, way back when....like a few months ago, when we had bean fever and #nopoop.

Do you want some? Lemmy know in the comments if you want some stroganoff, it might take a couple days but it'll still be good

I have no faith that bird will arrive with anything more than parsley on bread.

How then do you explain the ground noodles?

Dedication does not always equal results.

That's not noodles, it's peanut butter to keep him distracted while a strap a load of strog to his back

What the fuck was that baloney? Tomato slices, chunks of onion, mushrooms, and mystery meat boiled in milk... I feel like I'm taking crazy pills

And no fucking paprika!?

That is milk steak with veggies

Fuck I'm pissed now. Boutta make stroganoff really angrily about this

Actually the history of Stroganoff is a messy one, it definately originated in russia, but we dont really know where or when, some are tomato based and some have no cream at all, some have freaking pickles in it. the true origins of the dish are lost.

The modern western strog is closer to chinese strog than any of the slavic strogs. Japanese strog is its own thing that seems to be based on an older recipe likely replicated from memory or from a vague description.

2

There is no "modern western strog". American stroganoff differs greatly from French stroganoff for example.

You reached the end
