At least people on coke are fun. Can't be doing with the guy that smokes weed and ignores everyone for the rest of the night. I've never tried cocaine but I've always hated the messiness of it. People do lines off dirty surfaces or snort it from a key. They must lose like 20% of it, and it's spenny too. Just get a tiny spoon or something you useless cokeheads.
They forgot to mention Westminster.
Oh, fuck off.
That explains all the narcissists then.
Yeah, that's something that shocked me a bit when I moved here. Some of my younger colleagues (and I mean young, most girls aged 19-22) casually spoke about their cocaine usage and even ketamine. I even learned about the "k hole" from them, lol. Scary. I know a couple of straight edge 20 somethings too though so I guess they're bringing some balance to the force but damn.
I went to Edinburgh 15 years ago and got offered coke in a sexy bar.
Summer years later on a clan meet a couple of my clean mates were open about their use.
So it doesn't surprise me, it's way more prevalent than in the Netherlands, however it's in the up here as well. Not as openjy, in my estimation.
I love drugs, but don’t talk about it in the workplace haha.
Weird, I've never noticed anything. I guess being a little older and WFH kind of cuts me off from that world.
I started doing casual coke about 15 years ago when at the pub.
Once I started doing it I cannot believe how many people I noticed doing it, I guess I was just oblivious.
Coke free 15 years! Alcohol free, 15 hours.
Congrats! I'm nearly 24 hours sober at the moment, might go another. I've never done anything harder than acid, I'm kind of a self-control freak. And yes, deeply oblivious.
I don't know about that. I'm fairly older than the average fedizen. I can tell you, when I was in my 20s, the guy selling at the average pub would definitely be trying to push a little charlie onto you at the same time. Likewise, if I went to a club I remember being offered "a line" on multiple occasions with different people present.
I was never interested in it myself though. But it was out there and very easily accessible.
Now-days, I have no idea. Because I'm generally doing neither activity. But I bet if you live in certain areas, it's not changed at all.
Probably it depends a lot on where you live (or lived) though.
Maybe that's it, I almost always have my kid with me so dealers don't even look in my direction. Shame, probably would buy adderalls for my wife and child if they did.
