I could get away with a monocle, only my left eye has a prescription. But I tried wearing the one my grandmother used, and I genuinely don’t know how you’d get it to stay in place. So uncomfortable.
Have to assume it was used more like a magnifying glass on a cord, but I’ve only ever seen people with them on like the ad above.
