Where can I get some basic economic data from for casual browsing?

I'm just interested in some basic info, gdp, growth rate, unemployment, etc.

After much searching I found tradingeconomics.com 5 or 6 years ago (maybe more), and it served me well.

Recently I went there and was disappointed to learn that they had locked certain data, particularly historical data, behind a premium feature.

eg, I wanted to compare Greece's gdp in absolute terms since 2008, but I can't go back before 2014 (I think).

I'm not doing any academic or commercial work. This is purely for curiosity's sake.

Where can I get this info from?

It is US centric but it does have international data series too

Plus built-in tools to modify. So for instance (as a very silly example) you can take a base series like GDP, divide by the number of accountants, and multiply by the unemployment rate, and see how that trends over time.
