Anark is an idiot who supports what would basically be anarcho-cops, anarcho-bureaucrats, and anarcho-cia. So not surprised he'd support building prisons. Bro's basically just another Vaush. Some influencer larping an anarchist. Screenshot pulled from Constructing the Revolution by Anark. It is on the Anarchist Library.

Is there a reason for improper contextualized excerption? Anark is exposing the need for Intelligence DURING A REVOLUTION, not after.
Are you seriously opposing the idea of antiauthoritarian action is to be ignorant of what authoritarians are doing‽

Because power begets power. Once you have a secret police installed, whoever controls the police has the power over everything else, therefore no longer anarchy.

so, your antiauthoritarian action is to deempower revolutionaries during a revolution…
the paradox of power means nothing to you…

I dunno bout this chief. you sure you're anarchist?

Because pre-approving a secret police is not anarchist, distrusting everyone in the very society you're trying to build, it's not anarchy, cementing power around policing is not anarchy. Plus, the most important point is this: No revolution is happening right now, so the question is moot.

Just be honest with yourself and admit you love secret police and become a tankie.

2

nowhere in his essay is he promoting a “secret police.” Intelligence is acquisition of enemy knowledge. For revolutions, that is anti-authoritarian action.

No revolution is happening right now, so the question is moot.

Seems you're missing a lot of European news.

Just be honest with yourself and admit you love secret police and become a tankie.

I've read all of this and still don't understand who's mad at who for what.

It doesn't seem to have much to do with anarchist theory, though.

After reading the comment thread linked in the source, damn. Harassing someone with alts and a fake ai-slop osint report just because they disapprove of the concept of prisons is... wild.

The morbid curiosity might get the better of me and I might go look what other wild takes this so-called "anark" has. Too bad that Shitter sucks to browse without an account.

I was warming up to anark but this behavior made me lose some goodwill. I don't know what if they're behind this expose but given how flimsy it is, they should have not spread it around without doing due diligence.

If the essay by zig which apparently started this feud is wrong on such a fundamental level and Anark is in fact against prisons (I don't know his takes), wouldn't the best course of action be to focus on that instead of accusing him of running a honeypot (while himself using twitter and youtube)?

The dogwhistle seems pretty far fetched tbh. They also have this nice picture on the projects community page:

ziq called that "evidence" AI generated copjacketing slop, and given that the site has just that one report, it doesn't seem too credible. The list of factual errors in that report written out by ziq in the comments linked in the OP here is also quite lengthy.

Yeah a prison with a focus on rehabilitation is still a prison. Nordic prisons sure are nicer than american ones for example, but they're still prisons and to not call them that is just silly. In the video the only difference to a nordic prison is that it's managed by a smaller scale community.

prison with a focus on rehabilitation is still a prison

anark: all laws and enumerated measures for reparations and rehabilitation not expressed in the constitution would be outlined. […] Justice: repairing the wrongs that have been done and preventing further ones from being committed

The distinction anark argues is that there are outliers that wish injustice that do not desire to reparate & rehabilitate, what would be the corrective action to take? Compost, servitute, banishment?

Reparations centers are not prisons. Contemporary correctional facilities are slave plantations. So how do we move from private prisons to correcting behavior?

Yeah I'm not debating the utility of prisons with an anark fan. It's a direct quote and you can agree with Anark's opinion or not, but disagreeing with it is not grounds to copjacket people using AI slop.

Nowhere have I stated I am a fan of anyone here. I am exposing contexts you and [email protected] seem to be omitting off your excerpts. I quoted the whole essays, with contexts provided.

disagreeing with it is not grounds to copjacket people using AI slop.

what are you talking about, David's article‽

"David" is an AI slop bot that generated nonsense that has been shown to be nonsense, stop linking to it and spreading the copjacket. There's no lower form of life than a copjacketer.

The context doesn't magically change prisons into not-prisons.

While we do use these tools in research, nothing here is published without human editorial oversight and source verification; be aware full OSINT reports will nevertheless contain generated material. News articles, and editorials published by Crawlspace Analysis are written by humans , with human editors , and sources are verified to the best of the team’s ability..

Let's assume you're right, David’s article is slop. Ziq’s authoritarianism is blatantly reviewable in the Internet Archive. That includes his copjacketing ban messages.

The context doesn’t magically change prisons into not-prisons.

How do you then reform wrong doers?

This is just what the CNT-FAI did with POWs during the Spanish Civil War. Whether that is a prison, I would say, is debatable.

The CNT-FAI having prisoners of war while under attack by fascist forces isn't the same as making plans to build prisons in your ideal society.

And they are still prisons, they don't become not-prisons when anarchists build them.

2

Thats not the argument I was making. But whatever, it still seems like you are admitting there is nuance to this even if Anark is wrong. Which was at the end of the day, all I was trying to say

I surmise Anark meant to do both when citing David Ruminski article: show how ziq acts in bad faith, fundamentally deceives, and bad jackets all the time. By pointing out raddle is a “honeypot” he’s ensuring his audience and us be aware how counter-anarchist ziq is. He did both things asserting the inclusion of his essay in the library maybe a compromise in the administration. Basically, mirror theanarchistlibrary asap.

The gay icon is quite different than Achillean or LGBTQIA+ pride flag. Pretty sure ziq means “gay” as “lame” here.

good thing website archives exist. we can ascertain what is true and what are libels.

Then where’s the “this powered by 🏳️‍⚧️ magic” icon???
Nothing else addresses ziq’s blatant authoritarian usage of raddle. 🏳️‍⚧️ software or not, ziq usage is authoritarian.
