Judge Denies Medical Release for N.Y.C. Man Shot by ICE
A judge on Friday denied the temporary release of the Dominican man who was shot this month by a federal immigration officer in New York, ruling that he was in stable condition and receiving “appropriate” medical care at a federal jail in Brooklyn.
The man, Oscar Belgal, has been in custody since being shot and injured on Oct. 8, when Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents apprehended him while he was in a car with his 5-year-old son.

Strategic and calculated Boycotts are the best shot we have. They are non violent and they go straight for the jugular 💵. Start with Amazon, Facebook, Google and all streaming platforms. Also people need to stop buying shit they can’t afford. Interest is there poor man’s hemorrhage.
I believe this is less likely than a full on revolution. Even revoluzzers will try to organize via Instagram and switch on Netflix after a hot day.

I joined the DSA and have been learning to organize and canvas despite my introversion and social anxiety. If a depressed autistic person can do that, most people can at least do something. There really isn't much of an excuse at this point.
If DSA isn't someone's thing, there are plenty of other groups that would be happy to have the help. We need all types, and no matter one's skill set there is something they can contribute.
