Or hopefully find a better way to do it without flooding low earth orbit with shit
They have their own systems, actually a few, but those are a few hundred compared to a few thousand satellites for starlink. They're also not targeted at consumer market.
And kegsbreth excuses it with "Oh it's just a TOS issue, and we all love Ukraine here..."
Maybe we should just assume (and communicate widely) that Starlink as a product is unreliable.
It's not even an exaggeration. A few of my coworkers have it as a backup for when their cables go down and I have proof that never once has it worked when they needed it lol

Elon was kinda expecting it to happen. Remember how he was lugging his human shield kid around for a while? IDK what happened that he's not afraid anymore, maybe the Trump regime promised him protection? He hired better security?
