Banned from Lemmy.ml for saying Zionism is Racism

Link to post with banned comment

The lemmy.ml admins couldn't handle someone pointing that any conversation about Palestine should be centered around the Palestinian victims undergoing a literal genocide and not on Judaism, because in the present day Jews are just privileged white people who aren't facing any systemic oppression but are even systemically privileged.

An instance pretending to give a voice for the the Global South in the end just censors non-Eurocentric opinions to the point of censoring for genocide.

Apparently they didn't instantly delete the comment after banning me but did so hours afterwards, probably because others agreed with me.

::: spoiler This part of the post pertains a feddit.uk post which I assumed was a crosspost but this was not removed by the lemmy.ml admin and this part can be ignored. Leaving it here for reference

The admins feddit.uk mods also removed a post from my own community because the post cites TheDailyMail and that is not a "reliable source" despite the headline being completely verified including a link to the UK government report itself. Might as well introduce MBFC next.

Here is TheGuardian saying the same thing: Government expected to accept recommendations of review, which found three in five Jewish students had experienced prejudice. And here is an even more extensive debunk of the report found on the "ultra radically left" /s Hasan Piker subreddit :::

PTB and philosemitism. Scholars such as Joseph Massad and Norman Finkelstein have extensively talked about this subject for years. It is not controversial topic. In the West Holocaust education kicks in on any debate around Judaism. Instantly shutting it down because any criticism of it equals gas chambers.

Talmud says you can lie to acquit a jew aganist a non-jew (baba kamma 113a)

Then you see conviction rate of palestinians vs israelis in occupied palestine. But if you connect the two, you are anti-semitic.

When a palestinian is murdered, their murderers say they are jewish, but if the palestinian being murdered were to condemn jews, they would be called anti-semitic.

Sure there are peaceful, non-zionist jews like natura karta. But vast majority jews do support israeli actions.

If mosques in Europe and USA invited leaders of alqaeda or ISIS, and praised them, nobody would hesitate in condemning muslims.

Until synagogues start condemning Israeli state like mosques condemn ISIS and alqaeda, judaism is zionism. Anyone who think otherwise is just a hypocrite.

-1

I don't think the Talmud is very relevant to this. What's far more relevant is that statistically

99% of Jewish Organizations Worldwide are Zionist.

Even when Zohran Mamdani recently gave his "combating antisemitism" funding he gave it to Zionist orgs and basically said he wasn't able to find any non-Zionist Jewish organisations to give it to.

A distinction between Jews as individuals, and Zionism can be made. But Judaism as a religion (which is what the sign in the OOP is about) is absolutely wholly intertwined with Zionism to the point where the difference is so minimal that it's not important at all. It just distracts from the Palestinians getting genocided. As explained in articles such as "Jewish settlers stole my house. It’s not my fault they’re Jewish". or "The Hollowed Vocabulary: Jewish Voice for Peace and the Institutional Capture of Anti-Zionism"

Queue the Western brained libs coming to yell at me for saying what Palestinian authors are communicating themselves because they have never read or heard anything by a Palestinian.

-1

Sure there are peaceful, non-zionist jews like natura karta. But vast majority jews do support israeli actions.

Irrelevant. The percentage of Jews who are Zionists does not matter, unless it's 100%. It is still more accurate to target criticism at Zionists, a category that includes the entire problem and only the problem, than at Jews, only some of whom are part of the problem, and who don't cover the entire problem. Objecting to the distinction between Jews and Zionists and calling it "Hasbara" is completely wrong.

If mosques in Europe and USA invited leaders of alqaeda or ISIS, and praised them, nobody would hesitate in condemning muslims.

Bullshit. I would absolutely not blame Muslims in general for the actions of some mosques. Just because there are lots of people who are racists doesn't mean we all are.

4

The admins also removed a post from my own community because the post cites TheDailyMail and that is not a “reliable source” despite the headline being completely verified including a link to the UK government report itself. Might as well introduce MBFC next.

No they didn't, I removed that post from ![email protected]. You also didn't link to a report, you linked to a post by the Institute for Jewish Policy Research that neither corroborated the Daily Mail headline and isn't a UK government body, it's a think tank based in London. The closest that post says to the headline is "One in four parents reported their children experienced antisemitism when attending school".

And not believing the Daily Mail to be a reliable source isn't introducing MBFC, it's common sense. Though given how much of your news you clearly get from Twitter, I can see why this is hard for you to grasp.

And here is an even more extensive debunk of the report found on the “ultra radically left” /s Hasan Piker subreddit

A screenshot of Reddit post that itself is a screenshot of a Twitter post. It is right (grab the spreadsheet from here), but you should really try for better sources.

23
thelemmy.club

Thank you for the clarification. I will remove that part from my post as is incorrect. Also I did respond to a comment (of I believe you yourself?) with the link to the study.

My post is still correct. As is the Reddit post. And I'm not sure why you're talking as if the BBC and TheGuardian are any more reliable sources than the Daily Mail while they're putting out Zionist propaganda slop blitzes every day And then they have to be debunked by people on Twitter and Reddit because major UK newspapers cannot do basic due dilligence. And then you're here telling me I don't know where to get my news from?

Here is MEE having to lay out how completely fraudulent the UK government report was they used an incredibly low sample size of 70 Jewish students, on which they used the IHRA definition to conflate Zionism and antisemitism, and then mythically increased 41% to 70% because ????

-3

Also I did respond to a comment (of Ibelieve you yourself?) with the link to the study and the link to it

Not me, someone who's since deleted their account. You also linked the Daily Mail article not the report.

My post is still correct. As is the Reddit post.

How are we suppose to know that? It's a screenshot and you never link to the original. Verifying that Reddit screenshot took quite some work on my part and I think it's the posters responsibility to bring the evidence, not the mods to find and verify it.

And I’m not sure why you’re talking as if the BBC and TheGuardian are any more reliable sources than the Daily Main while they’re putting out Zionist propaganda slop blitzes every day which then have to be debunked by people on Twitter and Reddit because major UK newspapers cannot do basic due dilligence. And then you’re here telling me I don’t know where to get my news from?

I'm a trans person living in Britain, you'll hear no love for the Guardian or BBC from me. But the Daily Mail is still significantly worse than both of them. Just because we sometimes have to get our information from bad sources doesn't mean we should lower our standards to the Mariana Trench.

I also need to emphasis that Twitter is not a place you should be getting your news from (or be on at all for that matter). It amplifies far-right accounts and studies have shown it makes you more right wing. Frankly I don't think we allow stuff from there at all.

Here is MEE having to lay out how completely fraudulent the UK government report was they used an incredibly low sample size of 70

I never defended the report, I don't know why you're making it out like I have. I agree that 70 is a piss poor sample size to draw conclusions from.

on which they used the IHRA definition to conflate Zionism and antisemitism

No? It was self-reported. The students may be conflating criticism of Israel with antisemitism, but the survey just asks if they've experienced or witnessed antisemitism and takes them at their word.

then mythically increased 41% to 70%

I think you mean 60%?

13

I really thought I linked the original study but if I didn't then my bad though I can't check well since my other account is gone and navigating deleted comments is too clunky for me so I'll just concede this one.

As or the rest I'm using the MEE article I trust them to have better read the report but they are putting lines in quote marks so I assume they did I'll quote relevant article lines below

No? It was self-reported.

"The Bell review used the IHRA definition of antisemitism, according to its published terms of reference."

I think you mean 60%?

Yes my bad typo

"Of the 92 Jewish students, 70 of them responded to a question about whether they have personally experienced or witnessed antisemitism. Twenty-nine Jewish students said they had experienced antisemitism, which equalled 41 percent of the Jewish respondents, not three in five, which would be 60 percent."

0

I think you're getting two things muddled up here:

  • The report does say to use the IHRA definition for antisemitism
  • The UCAS survey where the 'three in five' figure is from just asks students if they've witnessed or experienced antisemitism, it does not enforce any definition of antisemitism

lemmy.ml

Damn, only three days. I was hoping they got rid of you for good.

I will repeat the phrase that caused you to label me a "genocidal Zionist liberal" and block me, so that you can block me on this account too.

"I completely condemn the genocidal, apartheid state of Israel. I don't have a problem with Jews existing."

You're just here to pick fights with everyone, while pretending like you care at all about Palestinians to try to give yourself a blank check for your shitty behavior. If only you read actual theory instead of watching some dumbass youtuber's controversy bait.

7
thelemmy.club

Weird your comment is much much longer and doesn't say that at all. I guess you have to keep lying to keep the Zionism alive.

Zionists trying to tone police the movement like you should be perma'd.

-5
OBJECTION!reply
lemmy.ml

It literally says that exact phrase, word for word. Who do you expect to fool with such a flimsy lie? People too lazy to click the link?

Zionists trying to tone police the movement like you should be perma’d.

As someone who completely and unequivocally condemns Zionism, I agree completely.

We should also be permabanning edgelords like yourself who criticize antizionists for not being sufficiently racist, and who think that not being racist is the same thing as being a Zionist.

7
thelemmy.club

No, I’m not policing “the Palestinian movement” on tone, I’m policing you on doing your level best to muddy the waters on a black-and-white issue.

This is what your concern troll comment says. Thank you for proving my point and keeping lying.

You will take my position in a year and then pretend to have always been on the right side like a true Platnerite.

-5
OBJECTION!reply
lemmy.ml

You're really doubling down on this blatant lie?

You will take my position in a year

I'll be dead in the ground before I take your position, racist, lying scum.

5
thelemmy.club

Wow you highlighted an entirely different part of the comment great job. You sure proved your point by confirming you lied.

Even fencesitter tier leftists like Noah Samsen have already voiced my position. https://youtu.be/b0Ot0me5ocQ

You are going to voice it whenever the celebrity you worship starts doing. Who is it, Hasan Piker?

-6
OBJECTION!reply
lemmy.ml

I show you direct evidence that I said what I claimed I said, and you're still lying? I don't know that I've ever seen someone lying so blatantly.

You are going to voice it whenever the celebrity you worship starts doing. Who is it, Hasan Piker?

I really, really need you to understand that not everyone is like you where they're obsessed with some random idiot on Youtube or Twitch and blindly follow whatever the fuck they say. Some of us read books which are also known as theory. And think critically about those books even! You should try it sometime!

Maybe V.I. Lenin is just poaching Bad Empanada's ideas and in a couple years he'll wake up, punch through the glass Simpsons' style, and say "Actually, we should be hating the Jewish race instead of the state of Israel." At which point I would realize that I've misjudged him terribly and reevaluate everything I've read of his.

8

Your understanding of reading was "All Palestians believe in the Elders of Zion"

Don't pretend. You just have a bookcase full of stuff you never read past the introduction.

-5

Huh, I've seen "Zionism is good" + antisemitism and "Zionism is bad" + antisemitism, but never "Zionism is racism" + antisemitism before

9

Ydi

It's a known rule, you broke it, and it's only a 3 day ban. For a temp ban to be PTB, it has to be egregious, and this wasn't.

It wound likely help you in the future to be certain of community rules before engaging on hot button topics, no matter what stance you're espousing.

5
lemmy.world

It looks like everyone blew it. “Zionism is not Judaism” is a valid point because they are completely separate things. “Zionism is racism” is also true and valid. If everyone is in agreement that zionism can get fucked, then disparaging one true thing to focus solely on another is damaging instead of constructive.

Just because it's AI, it doesn't follow that it's slop. It's a good sign and I expect to see it at future protests.

-10

It definitely is a good sign - I'm not gonna argue with that. However, I'm very anti generative AI regardless of which context it's used for. Might just as well have been a job for a Photoshop-equivalent, and it would have had the same effect without supporting an AI company.

15
thelemmy.club

Zionism and Judaism are not the same thing but it's not relevant for Palestinians and the conversation shouldn't be focused around it. The reason the Zionism is Racism motion was so impactful is because it shifted the debate of what Zionism isn't into the debate of what Zionism is.

-1
SparroHawcreply
piefed.world

Saying "Zionism is not Judaism" is important is because so much of the Zionist rhetoric is about anti-Zionism being antisemitism, which it blatantly is not. It's denying the primary arguing point of Zionists trying to shut down criticism.

11

Absolutely false. Zionists couldn't care less about the distinction. They will abuse the antisemitism card no matter how well you distinguish. Research in the UK showed Jew hatred was DOWN but they added anti Israel sentiment and then said it was up.

That's why the myth of rising antisemitism needs to be addressed. But then the Zionists come out and concern troll the movement and say anyone who denies there is extreme antisemitism is a secret nazi. Thus empowering the Zionists to keep going.

-1

Zionism is a Jewish supremacy ideology, isn't it? They want a Jewish ethnostate, which definitionally is bigotry.

As Finklestein says, "how can you have a Jewish state that isn't a Jewish supremacist state?"

10
lemmy.ml

hey #1 bad empanada defender caught a 3 day ban and he deserved more.

throwback to him getting banned from hexbear while calling people 'transzionists' for shittalking bad empanada

part of a pattern of behavior at this point. BE uses palestine as a reason to attack all trans people, 'trolling' and people like OP defend it tooth and nail

here's another example + modlog1 + modlog2

it's actually incredibly pathetic to get all your information and positions from one streamer and the fact that you think anyone you're arguing with fucking cares about breadtube speaks volumes about you.

should have been perm banned a while ago.

21
thelemmy.club

Look who's here to once again derail a conversation about Palestinians being genocided with their own identity politics and culture war. This thread isn't about the Graham Platner fanclub on Hexbear.

You've got to be next level Eurocentric racist and Nazi tier white supremacist to do this, but I guess you are just wholly unable to do any self-reflection.

-11
lemmy.ml

the subject of the post is you being banned and i'm speaking to your character and history of behavior.

you are the one using people genocided as the excuse for and to deflect criticisms of your dogshit behavior.

nobody on fucking hexbear liked graham platner and you are incapable of engaging in anything beyond youtuber slop

17
thelemmy.club

No the subject of the post is clear and you are changing it. Stop lying your main community is ChapoTrapHouse who glazed Platner.

But of course you only have shade for people who advocate for Palestine. Mass murdering brown people and raping women is fine after all but remember that one edgy tweet BE made? You must keep bringing that up for multiple years!

Disrupt all anti genocide advocacy and demonize allies during the genocide, even if they are doing great work because they aren't perfectly in tune with you!

I can't wait for you to tell me about Hamas' opinions on LGBT! https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinkwashing

-9
lemmy.ml

you are not 'all anti genocide advocacy', you are one person on the internet who is primarily obsessed with defending your favorite youtuber.

you are also not doing 'great work' by any measurement.

this post is about you, i'm just discussing your behavior.

your main community is ChapoTrapHouse who glazed Platner

i'm not hexbear, i don't even moderate that comm. i am subscribed to it because it's their 'main' comm.

they were rightfully roasting CTH for giving that guy any oxygen, the podcast that the comm is named after is more often the butt of the joke than anything taken seriously in my experience.

incredible self-description at play, i never said this is about me, i'm just witnessing pure undiluted projection:

Your sheer arrogance and hypocrisy is off the charts . Not to mention the amount of racism needed to make a genocide about yourself.

8

Oh their main community is named after people who glaze mass murder and serial rape. Well I guess that's fine then. But remember that one edgy tweet Bad Empanada made once? Bad Empanara isn't even mentioned in the post. But you did imagine him into there. Great job!

Sure mate. You are actually the primary advocate for Palestine. You are the one doing great work by speech policing the movement. on unrelated issues and trying to deplatform anyone in the movement who makes a comment which doesn't align with YOU. That is what pinkwashing is all about after all.

Your sheer arrogance and hypocrisy is off the charts . Not to mention the amount of racism needed to make a genocide about yourself. But your username does check out.

Your sheer arrogance and hypocrisy is off the charts

lol fam that's you.

lemmy.dbzer0.com

YDI. OP regularly posts sketchy article about "jews", conflates judaism with zionism, etc. It's a pattern.

Otherwise I like OP's posts so the bad jewish stuff sticks out.

15

The removed comment was also very bad apart from the "zionism is racism", which also felt thrown in at the end precisely to be able to make the claim that was the only reason for removal.

9

Even generic Liberals like Owen Jones admit that what I'm saying is completely correct. Here even relevant to the post:

Zeteo - Debunked! The Antisemitism in UK Schools Report Is Based on BS Numbers

There is no "bad Jewish" stuff but you are hellbent on calling anyone who challenges the notion that Jews are actively being oppressed in 2026 an "antisemite".

Meanwhile Zionists are using this fake victim card to push their Zionist policies through and brainwash UK school children with the IHRA antisemitism definition which bans criticism of Israel as "antisemitism". And that's not some cooky conspiracy that is literally what has happened this past week.

-8

Well, yeah, this is lemmy. You punch to the right, you gonna hit a tankie.

For any governing state that heavily wields centralized authority and power. Left and right are at their convenience. This is a clear example of ptb. But also a day ending in y when it comes to .ml.

This community's instance isn't perfect. To be clear none of them are. But you might find it a much better place to be. It is much less micromanaged than ML.

7

I never thought the party that I supported having unimpeachable power would turn on ME

3
lemmy.world

I mean, Zionism is the advocacy of an ethnostate, so yes obviously it’s racism? It’s asserting (a very particular flavor of) Jewish supremacy, specifically with the intent of eliminating Palestinians.

The comment itself might be seen as splitting hairs but to ban over that is silly. This is ML though, and getting into the weeds over words turns into a massive spiral in leftist spaces as it is. Even more so in small comms (Lemmy is small), so it’s not surprising that the mod went so overboard. PTB

15
OBJECTION!reply
lemmy.ml

He wasn't banned for saying Zionism is racism, the mods on .ml agree with that part completely.

It was the part where he was strongly critical of distinguishing Zionism from Judaism, going so far to call that "Hasbara slop," when the reality is that Zionists are constantly trying to equate the two. He hates it when people distinguish the two because he wants to use the genocide of Gaza as an excuse to be an edgelord and adopt antisemitic positions.

-5

I completely and unequivocally condemn the genocidal, apartheid state of Israel. From the river to the sea, Palestine must be free.

Based on that, I'll let literally every other person, those that don't have their brains completely rotted out by Bad Empanada, decide whether I'm a "Zionist concern troll".

4
thelemmy.club

And there is the crux of your problem you are incapable of understanding arguments because your only way of interacting with them is whether you like the person. "If BadEmpanada says it then it must be false!". Cult of personality leftist.

Cult of personality leftist.

This is the biggest projection of any projection that anyone has ever projected.

5

Unlike you I don't blindly follow or oppose anyone. I have plenty of gripes with BE but that won't stop me from posting their good takes because I don't do Zionist wrecker purity testing like you do to expell every anti Palestian voice from the movement.

-5

expell every anti Palestian voice from the movement.

Freudian slip?

You want to expel my voice because I didn't meet your purity test by not being racist enough.

Do you know who this OP is? They were one of the biggest names out of .ml and personified every boogeyman people have about them: constantly argumentative, never responded to what anyone else actually said, forced their ideology down everyone's throats, constantly misrepresented situations and articles to their own ends. They will argue anything extreme just to goad people like at one point they supported rape as a viable and justified act at one point provided it's against the right people.

They go banned from their favourite instance and are mad about it. I mean, c'mon, are we really going to gloss over where they want the Daily Mail taken as a valid and reliable source just because the article has a link to something else, as if it's not possible to editorialize information and the Daily Mail doesn't have a long and proven track record of doing just that?

Even below, they aren't posting that Daily Mail article they posted and got banned over, or tried to justify in the OP. It's another, more agreeable, article entirely.

18

I don't. I recognize a few names here and there, but I really just come here to doom scroll and post the odd cat pic. I don't get hung up on usernames, suspected alts, etc. I mostly try to stay out of drama unless I'm feeling a bit spicy that day and need an outlet.

4

Your entire message is adhominems and then you admit that there is nothing wrong with the daily mail article. Most of the times people complain about me it's the .ml admins removing their comments or banning them on my communities, but anyone who did get banned by me absolutely deserved it.

-16
Eldritchreply
piefed.world

Oh the irony. I truly believe you have them all blocked. Because this is not their main account. Their main account was @[email protected] . But this is a good lesson on the problems of the state. It will persecute you for random capricious and vindictive reasons whether or not you are right or wrong. Especially the more micromanaged and centralized it is run. It becomes the leadership classes personal fiefdom.

12

It will persecute you for random capricious and vindictive reasons whether or not you are right or wrong.

Calling a three day ban "persecution" is beyond parody (not to mention comparing an instance to a state), and it's not for "random capricious and vindictive reasons" it's because the user is an edgelord who edged too close to antisemitism.

5

I really don't. I did at first because that was easiest, but I've since experienced some nuance, and instead block users themselves as needed.

4

Everyone does things their own way. But yeah for myself I keep my block list empty generally. Only ever used it sparingly and temporarily. Because whether you happen to find yourself in an echo chamber, or you build one around yourself. It's still an echo chamber just the same.

5

i learned recently dbzero and blahaj is also super problematic too. no rhyme or reason for a ban, not even linking to original posts. for dbzero, they just CROSSBAnned people. and the startrek website instance too,.

blahaj wants a holier than thou type instance, which is sad, and not helping trans people at all.(thier instances is just memes, almost too sexual sometimes.

Hexbear and lemmygrad are the other two, but I hardly hear about them anymore which makes me wonder if they've just been almost universally defederated to irrelevance.

I don't think hexbearer was ever widely federated. There was a time lemmygrad tried. But despite being run by many of the same people as Lemmy.ml. it wasn't the official Flagship server. So, many people had no issue with blocking it early and often.

5
blartcap_reply
lemmy.dbzer0.com

Hexbear is widely defederated, you'll find it on the blocklist of many big instances. Much of it is from years ago, back when reddit made their API changes and there was a large amount of activity in the lemmy fediverse along with a bug where their emojis were being rendered HUGE for everyone else, and their culture of the time of posting scandalous pictures and emojis were basically being shouted at everyone. Since then, just a lot of bad behaviour from users that got further blocks (like from lemmy.ca).

Blocked select world communities only to force me to remember that there are better alternatives. Like I try not to post to world's cats anymore, and instead post to cats@shitjustworks. World is too big and reminds of Reddit. Also lol for not being able to talk about piracy.

.world hasn't universally blocked piracy. As with many things there are nuance. That and piefed.world is kind of neglected lol. But I can browse the piracy communities just fine generally. But compared to LW PW is a blip statistically. If someone were going to notice such comms being available on one of their services. Lemmy would be the one. As such, I understand them doing it. It sucks. But it would be a very attractive target.

You can do "I ban Nazis" without "I ban anyone who disagrees with me". Unless you think anyone who disagrees with your politics is a Nazi, which is funny in a different way.

Now that I have your attention, here's what actual real Palestinians have to say instead of Western people put on a pedestal:

The Antisemitism Nobody Wants to Explain

Every Palestinian who attempts to accurately describe their experience — an experience of stolen homes, imprisoned and tortured family members, and besieged cities — is forced to make a very important decision: Do they name who did it?

If Palestinians acknowledge the Jewishness of the colonial project that announces itself, in its flags, its holidays, its army, and its international institutions, not simply as Jewish, but as the highest form of Jewishness, or dare mention the Magen Davids spray painted onto their homes and carved into their land and skin, or mention that it was an orthodox Rabbi who called for their murders, they are inundated with zionist accusations that they hate Jews and that they are antisemitic — the two made synonymous. Suddenly the conversation shifts away from engagement with their experiences and becomes a sham trial to determine their intent, built on the philosemitic premise that to resent their oppressors would render them an unreliable narrator who either deserved the violence against them or, at the very least, is someone who is not worth protecting. Palestinians know they will be expected to answer for, to apologize for, millennia of anti-Jewish persecution that they had no part in and will be expected to disavow and condemn not just antisemitism, but all of Palestine’s anti-colonial political history.

Knowing this, many anti-zionists, including Palestinians, have engaged in a form of idealistic self-censorship in which they rhetorically center combating antisemitism within their anti-zionism, tie the safety of Jews and Palestinians together, and preemptively assert that Palestinians do not hate Jews and therefore are not antisemitic. Meanwhile, the Jewish zionist state bulldozes more Palestinian homes, destroys more Palestinian cities, and kills more Palestinians.

This essay seeks to directly confront the reality that no one wants to engage with, one that some people either ignore or attempt to sanitize, that others trot out as if it’s proof that zionism is the answer: It is entirely reasonable that Palestinians may hold animosity toward Jews. But this is not antisemitism.

It seems quite obvious that oppressed people would hate their oppressor. In fact, it seems silly to even debate this point. For anyone who has a meaningful understanding of Palestinians’ history or present, the idea that Palestinian hostility toward Jews, including outright hatred, is antisemitism — or that antisemitism everywhere, across history, is the same — is obviously wrong. But beyond being wrong, the question of whether it is antisemitism is totally irrelevant. It is asserted specifically as a tool for the advancement of zionism.

You could have educated yourself by trying to understand what it says and how it related to the post. But that's too difficult when you're just here to concern troll.

Israel shoves its Jewishness in the face of Palestinians as part of the genocide, yes. They march in the name of Jewish supremacy. I can’t imagine not feeling resentment towards that on top of the horrific nightmare they’re already subject to.

Sane Jewish folks are already on the side of Palestine and this isn’t a conversation to begin with in most level-headed discussions. It’s understandable to make a quick disclaimer when introducing oneself, but I’ve never personally experienced it go beyond that irl.

I’d chalk it up to terminally online people being terminally online. Doesn’t make it right but hopefully adds some perspective to a stressful situation

I'm convinced Geneva convenience wants to conflate the two and uses the Palestinians as a way of saying "see? Their lived experience and justified hatred means I can be a reactionary".

Just start posting protocols of the elders of zion, geneva.
