The mega-Maga contender in deep-red Florida who doesn’t want to talk about Trump
It took Byron Donalds, addressing a wildly supportive crowd at a rally in Florida’s bluest county, some time to list those he blamed for any “affordability” issues they might be experiencing.
Joe Biden, and the radical policies of the Democrats, were at fault, the Republican nominee for Florida governor insisted in his stump speech at Broward county’s Green Glades West ranch, even though neither has wielded power in Washington for almost two years.

I hope every single gaslighting Republican loses in historic fashion.
I know full well none of the centrists that get elected are going to do anything, but the DSA's mean business and we may get a few of them. Worth it.
Unfortunately Vought has already laid the groundwork and published the manual for how they are going to deem all DSA members and Muslims unfit to take the oath on 1/3/27. That's 13 potential seats that will sit vacant for years.
I’m pretty sure that’s only applicable if the GOP doesn’t get fucking wrecked in the elections.
But also, who knows how the regime is going to try to fuck things in a couple weeks
I don't buy into the alarmism people are spreading about the upcoming elections. You can't scare people into not voting when not voting means food and rent prices getting worse, because people are way more scared of homelessness and starvation than they are of men in fatigues.
There is also historical precedent to consider. Clinton, Dubya, Obama, Trump I, and Biden all lost their congressional majorities in the mid-terms, and unlike those five precedents, the cost of living explosion can be tied directly to things Donald did unilaterally. His minions supported these full stop, and they can't gaslight their way out of it. It's undeniable that Donald's war has made everything significantly more expensive.
The mid-terms are going to be a bloodbath for Republicans, as evidenced by Donald's approval rating being lower than Carter's. It was really, really stupid for Donald to promise day-one action on affordability, then do nothing, and follow inaction up with a war that he started by himself that made it undeniably much worse.
Hey, I hope you’re right, and I’m just being unnecessarily paranoid. But I’m worried it’s not gonna pan out that way.
We'll see. I'm not worried.
