I don't know if I'm just tired of the mean girls bullying a kid trope but I just can't get into the show. Watched the first two episodes and am just kind of bored.
Highschool drama doesn't hit the same at 40, that's for sure

I thought the same, by the end it gets crazy violent and satisfying
I'm glad I read this little comment chain because I'm about to watch it and would not have gotten past an episode or so if it came across as unrelatable teenage drama without knowing that it ends up being satisfying.
Still a good chance I won't make it through, but I'll give it a go.

There's Carrie, Carrie goes on vacation, Carrie and the pirates, Carrie visits Atlantis...

I hope Mike Flanagan stays involved. Or not, so long as he has some other new project I get to watch.
For a while there were rumors he would be adapting the comic Something is Killing the Children and I would still LOVE to see that.
