Very exciting to see her stay; she's in my top four Maddies playing for the Reign this season

Curry continued to make the same defensive impact in her two seasons in Seattle, offering versatility on the backline: she can play fullback on the left or right side and was even used as a centerback at Angel City. Curry has shared fullback duties with Ryanne Brown this season, who returned from an ACL tear over the summer. Since late July, Curry has been used more often as an impact sub off the bench rather than a consistent starter, a role she's excelled at. Off the bench, she brings energy, breaks up play with some of the best 1v1 defending in the league, and shuts down attacks. A contract extension into the 2028 season signals that the club sees Curry as a key player, especially as they think about when Sofia Huerta might hang up her boots as a player.
