Jellyfin handles streaming fragmentation pretty well...
I kinda don't get it at this point. Can you not plan ahead what you want to watch? I mean I've got hours of stuff I still have to get through. Streaming seems to really be great for people that like flipping channels more than watching anything.
Genuinely no, I can't plan ahead what I want to watch. My brain just doesn't work that way.
Fortunately torrents generally only take a couple of minutes so I just get a drink or something and its done.
How do you decide? Do you browse top torrents?
Sometimes I use stremio to browse, but usually I just know. For example, I want to watch mannequin right now because it was described as an oddball queer comedy in a review I listened to two weeks ago.
Oh, so you had two weeks to d/l, but your brain just was out here YOLOing it the whole time. I've been there, too.
I guess they've got a good dataset of which programs people are interested in, and what they should spend money licencing
$50 lifetime license? Sounds more like a scam.
I've noticed for a while they had a few films to stream (for free, no sign-up, available to me in Mexico), e.g. all the Vincent Price films in this October's #Monsterdon watch party.
Hopefully the fully-free, no-sign-up stuff won't disappear into the subscription service.
