Medieval monks never got intrusive rage bait ads in their scrolls

i have voluntarily made my phone much harder to use in an attempt to combat my phone addiction. battery saver on, monochrome, and annoying screen time reminders that lock me out of the problematic apps every 10 minutes... and some days i still end up scrolling 😭
