Canada only has four lines, all of them on it's eastern seaboard; three from Nova Scotia; two connect to the UK and one connects with Ireland. The last one connects Newfoundland to Greenland (then Greenland to Iceland to Denmark) but that's it. I expected Vancouver to have one connecting to Japan but all of that traffic is routed through Seattle.
