Some say that Mike Johnson and the Republicans are going to attempt to deny seating the newly-elected Democrats for whatever thin excuse they’ll come up with after the election.

IMO, that is not beyond the tactics of the Republicans and has been seen before during Mike Johnson’s tenure as Speaker.

If that should happen, then our democracy is well and truly cooked. The No Kings protests aren’t effective. We will need an ongoing national strike.

Because failing that, what else do we have other than violence and civil war? Things are going to be tense.
