What Russia's doing to Ukraine is 'fine,' Trump says
According to U.S. President Donald Trump, Russia "has been fine on Ukraine" and "hasn't been doing much" to the country it has been attempting to violently conquer for over a decade.
"Russia, frankly, has been fine on Ukraine. They haven't been doing much," Trump told reporters on Oct. 19.
The president's remarks came the same day that a Russian daytime drone strike in a public park killed six people, including two children. The night before, Russia attacked Kyiv with over a dozen ballistic missiles and targeted nearly 30 critical energy facilities across the country.

From "end the war on day 1" to "it's fine".
By the end of the year he'll declare the war "over", regardless of what's actually going on.
Then sign an executive order trying to ban all US media from ever mentioning it again.
He can try, but it would have no legal effect. Executive orders only work on federal agencies.
You’re missing the part where the corporate media would want to kiss his ass.
And he gets a second peace prize! This time from the UFC
He can order the federal agents to deport anyone who does.
Under article 2 of the constitution he cannot. (Separation of powers)
Ohhhh my god, are we seriously doing this? You have seen how ICE is arresting and deporting US citizens, right? Laws mean nothing when they aren't enforced.
Noone is brave enough to try and stop him
It's ok. Cuckservatives have no standards so he doesn't need to make good on any of his promises to them. Maybe shit directly into their mouths a bit to placate them. Or insult them directly to their faces. You know, things cucks like.
There is absolutely no limit to Trump’s depravity. He is utterly without a soul; purely and completely evil.
What does that say about a population that allows him to stay in power for 6 fucking years and counting?
"Why don't the pillars of frozen suffering faces simply rise up against the cenobites? It must be because they're also evil, actually. I am very smart."
Show me where I called anyone evil. Or where I claimed to be smart.
Maybe just say what you think it says about the population, so we don't have to guess what your real point is.
I'll take a crack at it for him, as a born and raised American who has since left.
Nobody is saying everyone in America is evil. In fact, fantastic and incredible and amazing people live there.
But as an aggregate population, they put Trump in charge. There is no getting around that. We can hem and haw all we want about "only X percentage of the population voted" and whatever nonsense we want to to make us feel better about the US population in the aggregate, but at the end of the day enough people either wanted this, or didn't care enough to stop it, to make this happen. That is not a condemnation of every American - in the same way that calling Russia an evil country is not a condemnation of every Russian, but if anything, the population of the US is MORE culpable for this mess because their elections, at least in 2024, meant something.
I'm sure you and most of the people you know are damn fine, respectable, incredible people. But that's not the whole anymore. The country as a whole has lost the plot, and I'm not convinced they can ever get it back.
**republicans have lost the plot. the voters are mindless cattle. the politicians//influencers are unironically evil
Well maybe, in point of fact I'm also a recovering American. I see American democracy as fundamentally broken at this point, so I tend to find fault with anyone describing Americans based on election results. Democracy has been under attack ever since the business plot, and it was never in great shape to begin with. Blame Nixon and every (including Democrats) president and congressperson since him for letting it happen in slow-motion plain daylight.
They certainly accelerated things, but the fact is, people had every single opportunity at the ballot box to choose better and failed to do so. There were no tanks rolling down Pennsylvania Avenue. This was not a coup. Getting to this point happened because enough of the populace were complicit. I'm glad you're also a recovering American, but the people who are left have to really consider when they say "This isn't us." No, it isn't you, but as a whole country? This might be "us", and it's time to seriously consider the company they're keeping.
At this point? I think one of the first political discussions I had with my father was that the US legal and democratic system are broken beyond repair and have been for decades now. It took Trump's ideocracy to make it painfully obvious.
Arguably I think many countries have arrived or will be arriving at the threshhold of functionality. So far the only two remedies that history provides are revolution or utter capitulation after losing a war. Let's hope we find another less violent yet systematically equally disruptive solution. I for one cling to the believe that there's still hope.
More cryptic and obtuse bullshit.
Six years?
4+2?
Ah, damn it, I thought it ment three mandate periods....
I blame an overworked brain that just woke up.
He just wants Russian oil to drive down gas prices for the midterms. He never cared about Ukraine it was just words to get votes.
It's enough for 1/2 day of US diesel consumption. That will not move prices, except maybe up.
Isn't it way too late for that?
hes mad because datacenters were also holding some of his crypto accounts that been hit/
Why is this crusty pedophile still alive?
mcdonald preservatives, hes more nitrate than human.
Bruh if I was Ukrainian I'd be seething at this headline
I'm seething as an American. Absolutely disgusting betrayal
I'm seething as an Australian. Yes, it has nothing to do with me, but somehow watching the shit show that is global politics is the train wreck from which I can not avert my eyes.
So the US agreed to protect Ukraine from Russia of they gave up their nukes, and now the US says it's fine for Russia to invade Ukraine.
No, the USA never agreed to protect Ukraine - it was an atrocious deal for the latter.
This not being in a nuclear umbrella is the reason why Russia was willing to risk invading them.
Did you even bother to read what you linked to?
Yes, thanks for asking. Did you?
The Budapest Memoranda do not contain "If someone else (e.g. Russia) attacks you, we will deploy our own military assets against them to defend you", which would be the requirement for the "the USA agreed to protect Ukraine from Russia in exchange for them giving up their nukes" claim.
I'm not a fan of the USA's foreign policy, but there's no need to claim they promised something they did not.
They did and you’re grasping at straws trying to gaslight people over a very public thing.
Ukraine wouldn't have been able to maintain or replenish the nukes they had when the USSR collapsed. It was a concession that made perfect sense.

Ffs. Jabbering Gibbons make more sense.
How can anyone read / listen to this and think this person is intellectually capable of managing a country, let alone the one with the most powerful military in the world?!? 😂🙈
Of course a rapist would think a nation invading another nation is fine.
and a nation known for using rape as a tactic.
Traitor
He's doing everything in his might to lose the midterms even harder. That's the last Putin is gonna get out of him and he knows it.
I wish I were his confident.
Actually, it could prove fatal to assume that the Republicans are going to lose the house(s). We should assume that they won't and do everything so that they actually do.
But I do think that Putin is seeing Trump's usefulness for him fading, even if we're just looking at a potential defeat of his party.
Absolutely. Mobilising dem voters is critically important.
However, I don't think that's how Putin would see Trump. The whole strategy since forever has just been chaos.
Whatever bullshit they can stir up in the US is good for Putin, it doesn't really matter what. They've been very successful, but it's by no means over. It's plausible that the US could have civil unrest, civil war, or a constitutional crisis in the coming months.
Man who bombs hospitals ok with other men who bomb hospitals?

He’s so used to living in a world where what he said is just what is, that when he says something so colossally stupid as this…. he truly thinks it’s radiates with an empirical profundity never imagined before. And this is because there exists no one in his world that will ever disagree with him or deny him anything he so much as glances at in intldifference.
His entire being, his family,… the sum of all things, matter and- otherwise- that coalesced to form what now represents the unrivaled and peerlessly pure definition of abject impudence that a mortal human being can achieve without collapsing inward on itself like a dying star isn’t worthy of the oxygen it would take just to breathe these words aloud.
And while many of us see him as the anthropomorphic end-product of a stool softener overdose, millions and millions of people remain ready to fight and die for this… gelatinously grotesque projection of what the concept of loathing would look like on a Rorschach Test if it happened to accidentally fall into and then back out of his diaper repeatedly.
I guess all I’m saying is….
They won’t show mercy, nor should you.
Putin got exactly what he wanted in the US. Europe, I hope y'all have got your shit together.
The old, fat, orange bitch of Putin's is big butt-hurt because Ukraine disrupted Putin's bot army for him by bombing a data center - sad, sick, pervert.
some of trumps financial accounts, like crypto was housed in thier yandex Dc apparently,
Source?
So he has gone full Krasnov now?
It certainly sounds like the Demented Don.
It was clear at the start of his 2nd term that it was only a matter of time before the US just turned on Ukraine. If Russia can do whatever it wants on their borders then maybe the US can too... how convenient. Watch this space, Canada.
I guess it was also "fine" when you diddled those kids. 🤮
I think that America has decided, on the whole, they are absolutely fine with that.
Trump: "Genocide is fine"
Dear Grim Reaper…
Dear cheeseburdler....

The nepobaby in chief..
Americans: How does it feel to be part of the USSR (The United States of Soviet Russia)? P.S. Send some more popcorn - we’ve run out. Best regards, Europe.
I’m not thrilled about anything this shitstain does. I thought America failed its promise decades ago, but now every day is a new low.
