You are the very first reference to The Man From Earth I have ever seen in the wild. It is my favorite film.

Just, whatever you do, don't watch the sequel

I was naive once and didn't heed this warning. And paid the price of having to live with the experience

I have successfully avoided that, along with avoiding the sequel to my favorite comedy movie of all time; "Hot Tub Time Machine"

I've watched it probably 6 times. Half the actors in it are pretty bad, but the story is just so great.

I've watched it so many times, but I've only gotten like 3 people to ever watch it for more than 30 minutes and those people of course loved it.

The story is just so damned good but a lot of people won't get past the lack of scenery changes and that like half the actors in it are pretty bad. But man oh man is it so well thought out.

Aww man.

Holy crap this guy's acting credits list is loooooong. Right up through this year too. The man was capital E Employed.

Well, well look. I already told you. I deal with the god damn customers so the engineers don't have to. I have people skills. I am good at dealing with people. Can't you understand that? What the hell is wrong with you people!?

Yup. Knew him from office space, first, even if that technically came out after.

You bring that ship back as clean as you did last time and I'll show you what old Pliers can do!

I've always enjoyed all of Richard Riehle's work, but to me he'll always be Robert 'Pliers' Sykes. RIP and thanks for the fond childhood memories.

Two The Man From Earth references in this thread. I've never seen it mentioned anywhere in the wild before. Top tier, favorite film.

I watched that movie and had some of the deepest, longest, most interesting intellectual conversations and arguments I've ever had. It took us two whole days to get through that movie, and even then, we talked more after.

Bumi (Aang's son) from Legend of Korra is what I'll always remember most. He really captured the 'eccentric but always well-intended' aspect so well.

And please, be respectful. Keep the complaints about the show itself to yourselves. I dont want to hear them anyway, especially not now.

Wow he was impressive. IMDB lists him doing 430 roles since 1977. Idk if he ever had a main role, but he was seriously successful in the side role category. What a life to have worked on so many different projects.

You reached the end
