They throw that accusation at most women online.

There were so many accusations lobbed at Violet for example.

I’m not her biggest fan, but I get on quite badly with thirsty straight women irl

Most people don't get along with thirsty people irl.

The fun part about the internet is that you don't have to engage with the thirsty straight women to accuse them of being men. You can just....walk away.

I’m cis and I get this, I’ll play with people for months or even years then one day we hop into voice chat and they are shocked I’m not a dude. Guys are stupid a lot of the time and try to put women into a tiny little box of approved things we can do say or be and anyone outside of that box is considered a failed woman, aka a dude.

Assuming other people gender/sex online is so dumb.

Are you really offended because this person who said was a woman is a man? Why? Mate, this other person is probably a country or 10 away from you; and given your bigotry in this matter, I'd assume your views of the world are so narrow that you probably think leaving your town is already "seeing the world", imagine leaving your own country... Do you really thought you could fuck her if she really was a woman in these circumstances? Because let's be honest, that is all what's this about; you are angry because a potential partner turned out to be "a competitor".

And if it's not that, then the situation is even dumber because why the hell do you care in the first place?

5

Not me, that's certain. But you know, the kind of mindset that goes through this, the "manosphere"... I don't think they consider women competitors even if they are lesbian. Never heard that "a lesbian is only so because she never tried a good dick"? Hence, if any, they see a lesbian woman as a prey to "convert".

In my experience it’s months of losing your sanity and will to live, but I like the sound of that better :)

That too is a form of friendzoning. Dudezoning even.

People like this need some kindof dogpark equivalent. They check your phone for lemmy, then they let you in.

How do you know they're guys?

1

It's part of their assumption is that everyone else is like them. It's the same for ethnicity in my experience; everyone assumes you're white by default and get surprised when you aren't.
