::: spoiler the pink and purple came out nicely :::

Much better than the bleach blonde I was ugh that sort of blonde doesn't look good on me at all. I think it's because my eyebrows are so thick and dark brown lol

This is much better. Just don't mind that I haven't washed my hair today heh

Yay! The temporary blonde bit is really weird.

4

Yeah it's my least favourite phase of dying my hair lol unlike pretty much every other colour imaginable, bleach blonde rarely looks good on anyone. Pamela Anderson in Baywatch pulls it off imo lol

I've dyed it hot pink at the front and purple in the back. It's really pretty in direct sunlight

Also saw some dolphins or seals or both but didn't have the big lens :(

Tuesday. There is no Tuesday. I decline to participate in Tuesday. Gimme coffee and I may reconsider.

11

Alas, untrue. And it shall be very medical. Not fun for any creature.

5

I too wish to abolish Tuesday. Fell asleep on the couch watching AHS,, woke up at 2, eh, no point going to bed and waking up His Lordship, back to the couch, sammy decides his main goal in life is to be a complete little shit starting at 3 and begins picking fights with Cerys.

On the plus side i got to see a 14 year old princess completely 180 a little ginger shit six foot off a cat tree., but even i baulk at three hours sleep.

He's dozing on the dining table right now. I'm about to ruin that boy's whole napping day.

my ex is being a pain, is trying to emotionally manipulate, harass and even subtly coerce

after so many years all of a sudden he uses the word "we" in an email ....lol, first time evah , where was we when he blew ~500,000

wants my perspective...lol. This is just like in the estranged parents essay, I told him a million times already.

I am giving no info, nothing he can argue with/pick apart

on a good note Bill and I are doing well. ๐Ÿ˜Š

8

God they're a weird bunch, especially when their victims leaves. My ex sent me a reddit dm a few years ago now, no apologies but just saying "we" we're both to blame.

Like lol no, no "we" are not.

Just leave on read where possible. Knowing you've seen their message, but won't respond does a number on those types lol

4

Good to hear you are doing ok. Separation is never easy. Best hope is it doesnโ€™t get too ugly and that itโ€™s resolved amicably, but even if things get bad, remember your reasons for leaving and that itโ€™s worth it.

3

Went to the cafe just now near my bus stop, and I though I had a stray hair that wouldn't leave my face alone. Turns out it was a baby wolf spider(? Maybe a troll spider thing?) that I brushed off onto my cardigan. I freaked out, brushed it off, and stomped it. I feel a bit bad, but also don't pretend to be my hair and touch my face bruh.

The cafe staff and myself are very much awake now loool

8

The neighbourhood would have been awake with my level of screaming. Oh my god.

6

Someone downvoted you? No one wants a spider in their hair! Anyway, spider will likely now be food for ants or maybe a bird will get lucky with a tasty squished spider for breakfast. Donโ€™t feel bad, circle of life continues.

One very sorry for himself Boyo is home sans tooth. Soup is apparently premature, and fuck knows how to stop him smoking. I shall make jelly.

Maybe agree on a smokes allowance or weekly allowance, iow, do good budgeting so it's not just coming out of general expenses

or have some kind of smokes diet

Budget isn't the issue, it's avoiding dry socket disease. That sounds like a very awful sort of pain.

patch- nicotinell are cheap as fuck - and start while he's drugged up so he's mostly gonna sleep and not have the desire to suck on them.

A friend from interstate is in Melbourne and we were planning on catching up this weekend, she then hits me with "I'm excited to see you. As is my sister. And my sister's two sons. And my sister's two son's kids." I have never wanted to bail on something so hard in my life. I get it, she is being hosted by her sister while in town, but... I just don't want to.

5

Take 'em to studley park boat house.

Geese there will make short work of the kids and should occupy their parents sufficiently. If the geese are too tame on the day (unlikely) chuck 'em in a hire boat for an hour.

It's damn difficult to communicate, that you really really want to see your friend, but not necessarily that friend's extended family. Any chance of meeting up someplace where the kids can play on the worksafe hazards (supervised by their parents) leaving you (+friend) in peace? My first choice would be the cafe in the Botanical Gardens as the tables are really really small and there's plenty of space for the replicants to run riot. And possibly drown in the lake, which should occupy the minds of their respective parents and keep them out of your hair.

I went to make a sandwich and the butter is too soft. Then I remembered something the man said last night. Checked the fridge and freezer. Yep it has shit itself. FFFFFFFFUUUUUCCCCKKKKKK. Luckily I have another fridge and freezer.

The "work" PC I ordered arrived yesterday, much sooner than expected. I would have been fine with it taking 6 weeks to be a Christmas present for myself but here it is. I really shouldn't have but the right thing came up at the right time and I told myself "things are only going to get worse" so I pulled the trigger

4

I'll have fun with it when I get the chance. But I'll also enjoy watching the kids crash into everything in BeamNG on a computer that can run it decently

Bit of a read...

"Osteoporosis leads to more hospitalizations annually than breast cancer, heart disease, and stroke combined"... well that's not good.

Yup. And I have it, thanks to cancer treatment a few years ago. The good news is that there are pills you can take that will increase bone density, and these have worked for me. I now have the same bone density of someone my own age, rather than the bone density of someone 20 years older which is where I was at just 2 years ago. The pills are horrible, but better than the six-monthly intravenous infusions of the same drug. My doc tells me I'll never have the bone density of a 30 year old male again, but he is hopeful of getting me back to the bone density of a 50 year old female. Thoroughly approve of eating lots of cheeee. And sardines, which add Vitamin D which is also a requirement for treatment. And there are now targeted exercise programs for osteoporosis which do a LOT to reduce further bone density loss.

That's good to hear the pills are working :)

Been trying to work out how to get bone density and Vit D up for ol' girl via soup as exercise is out the window, but everything hasn't worked so far :(

3

Talk to her doc - there are once a week pills for vitamin D (I use these), but they need to be recommended by a doc. Gel capsules, that can be dissolved in something like soup. Talk to the doc as there may be other options.

The osteo pills I use are once a week and a bit of a pain and probably won't work for your mum. I have to get these pills through an endocrinologist too. But there are alternatives, including a six-monthly intravenous infusion that has it's own risks & benefits but doesn't require any kind of pill.

2

Shit yeah. I will no longer feel guilty for eating half a block of cheese in one sitting.

Improve yourself - exercise, study, philosophy, career. Then generate excess "value" so you can help others.

If you've got the intellect to cure cancer or some massively beneficial thing, consider that, but most of us are regular schmo's without a driving passion for science so we work regular jobs and try to be kind where able.

4

Haha I just want to leave the world in a better place than how I found it
