I teared up a little when the third guy joining the line was pulled in to link arms. A simple, powerful moment of solidarity. Thanks for sharing this.

Can't the just make lame No King signs, sing Kumbaya and vote harder!?
Don't these Europoors have midterms?

Yes I double checked and the place exists. At Lebriz Faim restaurant in Grenoble, it is on Google Street View.

I'll be honest, in the age of warfare in which thousands get obliterated by the push of a button hundreds of kilometers away, its kinda cool to see some close-quater, non-lethal engagements and imagine battles a few centuries ago

Looks fake. Tried to find the stores by the names in the video and came up short. Don’t think this is real.

I found it: the taco place Lebriz Faim is on Google Maps it is in Grenoble. why do people not put in any real effort before placing these comments?

Because these posters want to spread doubt over everything that could possibly lead to people joining together against the pervasive rise of fascism

Or, hear me out, they are victims of an incredibly sophisticated propaganda apparatus expressing exactly the same paranoia and distrust you do in this comment

What did you think I meant by pervasive rise of fascism if not the thing that the propaganga apparatus is propagandizing?

I've got no distrust of OP, doubly so after they put way more work into proving the video's validity, than these knee-jerk (fell for the propaganda or worse, are active opposition) posters of 'nah its ai' that don't like seeing how weak their police actually are.

We are quickly reaching the point where what we see on the internet can no longer be trusted. This quote you posted is bang on.

I was there on the internet when everyone was saying, "that looks photoshopped," and there was a lot of confusion if the image was legitimate or not. Now we're hitting the point where AI videos and images are just hitting that stage of "ehhh maybe that's real?"

AI slop still has that shittieness to it (blurred words and images, gibberish, the occasional extra finger, stilted speech), but in a few years time it's going to be way harder to detect the AI slop - and I fucking hate it.

I get the feeling that real artists and creators will be further relegated to the fringes if there isn't a dramatic shift in the AI trajectory we're on. Do not underestimate the shear amount of incredibly dim people that will eat up AI slop for HOURS and ask for more.

Not sure what you're searching for, but "alimentation" and "restauration rapide" are pretty generic. They basically just mean "sustenance" (probably a grocery store) and "fast food." Searching Google maps for those, multiple results come up for each.

I think this is unlikely to be an AI video for a few reasons:

  1. It's a long (for AI) continuous clip
  2. I don't see continuity errors, e.g. people or objects occlude and reveal each other without things popping into/out of existence. For example, a gas canister is on the ground, it drops out of frame, a protestor enters the frame, kicks the canister, which then re-enters the frame.
  3. The subject isn't framed perfectly throughout, zoom levels jump, etc
  4. Objects (such as the signs) are in and out of focus, but retain continuity

Anything else making you think it's AI? (Or did "fake" not mean AI?)

The way the smoke grenade moved in frame at 0:23 combined with a protester then kicking it to the police looked very realistic.

At 0:29 the guy pulls the bag of the person in shoulders towards him that looked very realistic too.

Looked them up:

Okay, fair enough. I still say that's a weird-ass top-heavy looking font, though.

yeah this has slop vibes to it. i hope it's not.
