Didn't think we'd be back here so soon. Just watched the first two episodes and they are good thus far. They have much better pacing and animation than the original did back then. I'm really glad we didn't go the CGI route.

I enjoy Beerus feeling like a threat and I've got to enjoy that while it lasts.

I'm not a fan of Super, but maybe third times the charm. The movies were mostly good, but I didn't quite enjoy the original anime. Never read the manga. Do you guys think this anime implies the manga will continue?

The fight was good, great animation. I love the menacing closeups of Beerus, and how he's just inspecting Goku during the fight. I wonder if the "inspecting Beerus" is like a meta joke of the fanbase inspecting the animation frame by frame lol.

I think they cut out some of the jokes, it's a bit of a speedrun retelling, but it works. I'm pretty sure they skipped the mention of Goku having defeated Buu.
