Sat down and learned how to use FFMPEG to convert files last night. It might sound sacrilegious but I want to convert some flacs to mp3. These are car songs for the kids, I needed to convert whole folders at a time because we don't need 1gb albums in the car
It's pretty hard to hear the difference from flac -> 320kbps mp3 in a car.
BUT kiddos have better hearing than us oldies so would be interesting to do a blind test with them and ask if they can tell the format difference in the car. Might break up the 'are we there yet' routine 🙃
They just want to hear Godzilla by Blue Oyster Cult again and again. I converted the flacs through VLC and there's such a volume dropoff between that track and the others on the car USB
Anxiety is through the roof right now. I haven't touched my instruments in ages. I just wake up, go to work or uni, then come home and scroll or do uni work. I can feel myself sinking into the abyss.
I've been actively working to reduce my scroll time, I get so frustrated by myself with how much time I waste doing it. Maybe being a bit more conscious of it will help?

Yes I am still, but I'm happy to wait for an opportunity while doing this :) it's good hard work, fun, and I like my coworkers.
