Home again. Big glass of cold water, clean hair and a big old bucket load of moisturiser on my face. No more travel planned until Christmas. Just home, beach, decluttering. Can't wait

Such a nice day for some gardening. My tomatoes have the first flowers on them. If I’m very very lucky I may have tomatoes for Christmas.

Mine have sprung some flowers too, its a promising start!

How do I celebrate world menopause day?

On second thought, perhaps I will have a drink later, in honour of the menopause.

5

Turn the oven on and stand in front of it and hug it for 5 minutes then walk away. Then repeat all day. Finish with a drink because you survived and you deserve it.

So good that there’s lots of awareness and treatments available now. Celebrate the freedom!

I don't think it is. Pregnancy wasn't talked about freely now it is. Depression and mental health wasn't talked about now it is. Why can't menopause be talked about?

It's strange, not negative. It's jars with the way I was raised and with how society was when I was growing up. I hope I have grown past the old ways but I felt echoes.

And I did think about it, not only does it normalise menopause but in a way encourages the celebration of the totality of the experience of being a woman, which is a wonderful thing. 😊

I understand that. There have been taboos in the past that aren't today which is a good thing.

5

I have been thinking of all the women who still live under taboos. 😔

Was a beautiful drive out to Yarra Valley this morning! Did a "behind the scenes" tour at Chandon (it really wasn't much bts, but it was still interesting). Resisting the urge to nap, I don't want time to just vanish.

I seem to have caught a cold ☹️

I've not been out anywhere much, so it has to have had a very short incubation period (I worked Friday night, throat was feeling a bit sore Saturday night).

Went to another Pokémon card show today, this time at Welcome To Thornbury. The girlfriend has been thinking about getting into selling them online. I've told her I'll help out if she wants to do that. She just needs to make the accounts
