I liked the game, its atmosphere, the cult stuff but disliked how to combat played out. Felt.. little clunky. Still good for couple of months though.

Felt like a good bit of art and story wrapped in a... satisfactory rogue lite. Really lite.

Almost like they wanted an evil Animal Crossings but with combat, but didn't really care about the combat.

The DLC made combat a bit better though.

The DLC made combat a bit better though.

I never really finished the story because, could really get used to the combat. Wish it was smoother. Can we access the DLC content without finishing the story and how's the combat in the DLC (since you mentioned it got a bit better)?

I don't know if you can do the dlc without finishing the main, but I will say combat got a bit better, it wasn't overhauled. It just got a bit more difficult, requiring a bit more than just tapping attack, thinking more about combinations... But not much.

If you couldn't finish the first, I wouldn't get the dlc tbh

I have the game with full DLC in Switch 1 version, kind of hoping they'll offer the upgrade like some other games did.
