In my opinion, the top 3 persons at Signal earn too much. It is ok to be compensated regarding your responsibilities. But every year 700k ? I will earn that sum in my whole life.

yeah that's true. But I still think Signal is a good app and deserves money. But I'd rather donate to cover server costs and to support the foss contributors. 700k every year is too much definitely.
The lowest paid person earns $460k a year. That’s absolutely wild.
The CEO of the state hospital I work at earns more than that. Not much more. Maybe just over $800k I think, after she got a 23% raise the same year they offered our union 0%. That raised some eyebrows.
I too got such a message today and thought the same thing.
