11 PM, a minimalist factory game where modules bend the rules (free demo)
Hi! I'm Charlie, I made 11 PM
It's a minimalist factory game. You place machines on a grid, link them, and slot modules into them. Each module changes one rule of how its machine produces, a bit like the jokers in Balatro but for a production line. Most of the game is finding which modules work well together.
The demo is free on Steam, and it will be in Steam Next Fest (October 19 to 26): https://store.steampowered.com/app/4930650/11_pm/
If you try it, what helps me most is knowing where you got stuck or bored in the first 20 minutes.

Is it AI, charlie??
I feel a little skeptical if that's the whole truth, because parts of the interface remind me a lot of AI-generated or vibe-coded website interfaces. And I know I've got a real bad habit of just taking people at face value, and know I'm not too good at picking up deception. On the other hand, that kind of UI existed before vibe-coding—where else would they have ripped it from, but creative humans making colorful-yet-futuristic-TRON-vibe interfaces?
If you would use it for translation, I'm assuming you'll use it for anything.
If you simply do not care one iota about your potential non-english customers, which is what relying on AI for translation tells me, why would I assume they give a fuck about ANY customer.
I view any AI disclosure at all to be little more than ass-covering for when it turns out the entire thing is vibe code.
