Revolution requires sacrifice, and until people having nothing to lose, lives are not going to be put on the line. This usually requires severe hunger, and we are just not there yet. I don't see the author whipping out his gun and shooting, he's waiting for others to do it for him.

Yes, all famous instances of famine in america:

The Civil Rights Movement

Labor rights? The eight-hour workday, the weekend, basic workplace safety? Those didn’t come from asking nicely either, folks. The rights you enjoy as a worker came from hard nosed strikes that fucked with entire industries.

And please don’t get me started on women’s suffrage because decades of meek, peaceful petitioning and asking nicely spun its wheels in the mud.

Pride started June 28, 1969 with a damn riot, not a corporate rainbow parade.

And internationally:

France loses its shit over pension reform and South Korea impeached a president and put her in prison.

But it's not like there aren't people dying right now either:

We’ve got people literally dying because they can’t afford insulin or their asthma inhaler and we just shrug.

I don't see the author whipping out his gun and shooting, he's waiting for others to do it for him.

Why would he write about his crimes on the internet?
