A UNICEF bundle from a new site (for me), PlanetPlay

https://planetplay.com/campaign/unicef-playforeverychild-charity-bundle-2026/#collection

First time I'm seeing this site. And posting this is more of a question: Do you know it?

Its theoretical mission seems legitimate, but is it trustworthy in practice? A non-profit sending most if not all of its money to devs and climate activism. Would that even be sustainable?

I guess I'm asking for opinions more than giving notice. Kinda hoping it's worth some publicity and isn't just another shady practice.

100% of net profits

Gross revenue vs. net revenue. I think they could deduct operating expenses, salaries and sink rest in R&D for the site, donate 1 € to UNICEF and still technically fulfill the promise.

I'm a bit wary of these things, unless the donated amounts are more openly reported, and/or the actual charity publicly approves of these.

Yeah, sounds more likely that way. And honestly, I'd expect more marketing of some kind, but this just exists and nobody is saying anything about it.

Hard not to feel doubt.
