I'm over halfway on my third attempt at the Dragon of Happiness!

The first one was eaten by moths, and on the second, I realized that I had done every single wrong side decrease backwards after 221 rows.

This picture was taken when I finished chart 3/6, which puts it at 300/554 rows complete. This is easily the most complex lace pattern I've ever done. There are 18 total pages of charts (each one spans three pages), the ring lace background is garter, with no rest (knit/purl only) rows, and every single row is different.

Edit: Just realized I forgot to link the pattern.

It's certainly been doing its best to drive me insane. 😅 I plan on having it framed (and thoroughly sealed against pests) once it's done.

I will!

You should check out some of Sharon's other patterns. They're all just about as nuts as this one.

This pattern is one of the things that first got me into knitting. I'm thrilled to finally be making good progress on it.

Wow! It’s looking great! I applaud your persistence, I’d be tempted to frog and give up after attempt 2.

Thanks! This pattern is one of the reasons I learned to knit in the first place so I'm pretty determined to get it finished.
