A new device called StarPointer integrates with Stellarium to automatically keep telescopes pointed at selected celestial targets. The system uses the planetarium software to track objects and send positioning commands to the mount, simplifying the process of locating and following stars, planets, and deep-sky objects. The project was featured on Hackaday.
