Mix of herbs for the 20l of #cider

Mix of herbs for the 20l of #cider

It will be interesting, hopefully it won't get too bitter from some kind of wormwood, it smells really nice like cola but it's quite bitter. Mint and rosemary to balance it and I am looking for the bottling to taste it.

It will need to age a bit, 6 months is probably the shortest aging for cider but I am bit impatient and don't know how much bottles will survive my thirst ;-)

I found herbs often transforming in surprising, unexpected ways upon fermentation. I'm quite certain there is no way to know what you get beforehand without experimenting. I used to make mead with mint and rosemary, it was quite awesome.

When I use some in beer it is usually easy to just make herbal tee to get an idea when I use it in a boil.

As I wrote in my last post this is bit of an experiment, I have enough clear cider to compare it to and if it doesn't turn out well I will still have at least the clear cider ;-)
