How to cleanup repositories? (solved)
How can I cleanup manually added debian repositories and keyrings for softwares like brave, vscodium, zettlr, etc.
I know about /etc/apt/sources.list. but this is for official repositories right? What about manually added repos?

Look into /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ files.
There is nothing inside it, just an empty directory.
What does
ls /etc/apt/sources.list.dsay?You are using nano, a text editor, to open a directory in the above screenshot. Nano cannot open directories, it can only open individual files.
Yes, It's worked.
lscommand listed all custom repositories andsudo rm <repo-name>successfully remove it.Thanks.
Those are the two places for apt repositories in Debian. What makes you think there are more repositories installed? They can be entered either place.
After
sudo apt update, there are various repo links shown other than official ones. All I want to know is where these brave, vscodium, etc repos are stored and how it can be managed.Thats literally the only places those are stored. :)
Grep for it:
'cd /etc && grep -r "brave-browser"'
grep done nothing. Still repos are refreshed when performing
sudo apt update.other than grep I tried
locateto find brave directories and foundls /var/lib/apt/lists/brave*. but clearing those too didn't help.why this is so hard?
